Your data
Delete your DeLand One account
You can delete your account and the data tied to it yourself, at any time, from the DeLand One app or the website. Deletion is immediate and permanent — we cannot undo it or restore the account afterwards.
In the app
- Open the My DeLand tab and choose Account details.
- Scroll to Delete account and read what will be removed.
- Type DELETE, then confirm it’s you: re-enter your password, or — if you signed up with Apple or Google — sign in with it again when asked.
On the website
- Sign in and open My DeLand → Account, data & deletion.
- Optional: choose Download my data first — once the account is gone there is nothing left to send you.
- Under Delete your account, type DELETE and confirm with your password, or sign in again with Google if that is how you signed up.
What is deleted
- Your profile, photo, and networking card
- Everything you follow and everything you've saved
- Your RSVPs and your plans
- Your notification preferences and registered devices
- The contact consents you gave organizations
- Your claim requests and chat messages
- Your sign-in itself: your email address and any Apple or Google sign-in linked to it
What is kept, with your name removed
A few records outlive the account because other people rely on them. Each one is stripped of anything that identifies you and is no longer linked to you:
- Event check-in counts, with your name and email removed — organizers keep an accurate headcount, not your identity
- Any content reports you filed, with your name removed, so moderation decisions others rely on keep their record
- Usage statistics, unlinked from your account and kept only in aggregate
Can’t sign in?
Email support@emberdevstudios.com from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm the request with you and complete it within 30 days. Administrator accounts for a city or organization are removed this way too, by another administrator.
